In BU's first game back from the holiday break it is clear they they will need a few weeks to get used to the new line combinations, as they were dominated by Notre Dame on national television, last night.

Justin Courtnall scored the game's first goal, and put the Terriers on the board with just 1:34 to go in the first. BU could not hold the lead as Notre Dame scored three second period goals. Anders Lee scored his first of two on the power play, less then two minutes into the frame. Garrett Peterson tacked on another minutes later and Jeff Costello potted a goal on a two on one seven minutes into the second.

Lee added another tally in the third and Billy Maday scored on the power play to make it 5-1 before Wade Megan converted on a shorthanded break a way, late in the third. It was BU's eight shorthanded strike of the year, good for the Nation's number one spot in SH column.

Millan made 29 save including 17 in the third period in a losing effort.
