This morning I woke up and checked twitter like I do most mornings and was a little surprised to see that Sahir Gill will not be coming back for his fourth year at BU. The Senior forward posted this on twitter this morning:
Gill had 28 goals, 50 assists for 78 points in three years (117 games) as a Terrier. Gill's most predictive year on campus was his sophomore tour when he posted a 12-19-31 line in 39 games played.
Thank you to BU for the opportunity and lifetime of memories & friendships made. Honoured to be a Terrier, but excited for what lies ahead!A team source later confirmed the departure. It is unknown why or where Gill will go from here. Speculation has it that he will sign a pro contract rather than sit out a whole year to have just one year of NCAA eligibility at another school.
