It is now final the 2009 Boston University Hockey team is the best team in school history. On Saturday night the Terriers razed the banners from their historic 2009 season into the rafters of Aggains Arena. From left to right stood the National Championship, the Frozen Four, the 2009 Hockey East, the regular season Hockey East, and the last banner the 2009 Beanpot champions banner.
The Game
There was a game to play be played after all. Early in the first the Terriers were a man down and the National Team wasted no time getting on the score bored. Brandon Saad took a pass from Matt Nieto (bu recruit) and slammed it past Kieran Millan the Bu goalie. Later in the first the Terriers got a pare of goals, one from Nick Bonino a rap around goal scored on the power play. The second was scored by Chris Connolly, who took a pass from freshman Max Nicastro and blasted it of the post and into the net (photo to the left).

The Terriers would get a third goal with only 8 seconds left in the second period. This goal was scored by Joe Pereira. The goal was scored on a two on one with Andrew Glass. Glass setup the play and then gave Pereira a perfect pass and he scored. The photo to the right shows Andrew Glass celebrating the Joe Pereira goal.
