Mark Recchi shored on a tap in, in the first period and Daniel Paille picked up a short handed goal at the 6:18 mark of the second.

With this win, the B's have locked up third place or better in the Eastern Conference standings. They can mathematically still win the conference. The are just for points behind the conference leading Washington Capitals.
