Weekend preview: BU & Provedence

The Terrers come into this weekend as one of the hotest teams in the country and are on the move up in both the Pair Wise Rankings and the national polls. On the other hand PC has cooled of since they beat BU and Maine in the middle of January.

The Terriers will be without Corey Trivino for the weekend and likely the rest of the season.

If BU wins both games this weekend and BC and Maine lose theree game BU will be in second place in Hockey East

Facts on the Friars
PC, thiseason is 9-17-2 and are in dead last in the Hockey East standings, and they are 7 points behind Merrimack, who is in 9th place. PC, thought has beaten some strong teams, such as BU and Notre Dame. Goalie Alex Beaudry is one of the better goalies in the leag, but he will have to play out of his mined, like he did the last time the two teams met, to beat BU this time.

Chris Drury scored the game winning goal for the USA as they downed Norway 6-1 yeasterday in Olympic play.
