Honored

David Warsofsky received Hockey East's Athletic Republic player of the week honor.  Warsofsky had two goals and three assists over the weekend, along with a +4 rating.

Freshman Sahir Gill (photo) was given the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the week award for his great play in St Louis. He racked up five points total, including four points (a goal and 3 assists) in the championship game, to help the Terriers to a 5-4 win over Notre Dame.

BU was also named the Hockey East team of the week after winning the Icebreaker tournament over the past weekend.

Freshman Charlie Coyle and senior captain, Joe Pereira were also Hockey East top performers. Pereira had three goals in the tournament, while Coyle picked up his first collegiate goal against Wisconsin.

In Other News 
Formet Terrier stanout, Brandon Yip scored his first goal of the season last night, but it was in a losing effort, as his Colorado Avalanche fell 4-2 to the Philadelphia Flyers
