BU-UNH Preview

Later today, BU will take on the University of New Hampshire at home. This will be the second time these two teams have met this year. UNH handed the Terriers a humbling 4-1 rout about a month ago up in Durham.

BU will start Matt O'Connor in net, who shutout the Wildcats for half a game. O'Connor took over in the Terrier net, after Sean Maguire allowed four goals in a period an a half.

Scouting the Wildcats
Keven Goumas leads the team in points with 11, scoring one goal and posting 10 assists. Right behind him is sophomore Trevor van Riemsdyk, who has 10 points (4g, 6a) in 9 games played. Senior Austin Block leeds the team in goals scored, racking up 8 in 9 games played.

In goal, Casey DeSmith holds a 7-1-1 record with a .957 save percentage, a 1.21 goals against, and has 4 shutouts on the year. Against BU, DeSmith holds a 2.80 GAA and .925 save percentage and a 2-3-0 record.
