Under class men lead the way at Fenway

BU beats BC 3-2, in Sun Life Frozen Fenway

The game looked nothing like the Winter Classic, that took place there one week ago. No over time, and it was a lot colder.

The Terriers got on the board first during a power play in tthe first period. David Warsofsky took a slaper that first hit the post and then hit the back of BC goalie, John Muse, and in to the net. After the goal Warsofsky put on a celebration, in wich hit faked throing up a baseball and calling his shot.

“I have to give some credit to [third-string goalie] Adam Kraus,” Warsofksy said of his reaction.

“He came up with it before the game, and I figured if I scored I’d go with it. I don’t know if the coaches liked it.”
“I didn’t see it,” retorted Parker.
“Hopefully he doesn’t see it on film either,” Warsofsky said, giving the media a good laugh. USCHO

BU took a 2-0 lead, when Jr. forward Joe Pereira knocked home an rebound from a Coldy Cohen slap shot. The puck once again banked off Muse and in.

Later in the game, The Terriers looked llike they were gooing to run away with the game when they whent up 3-0. BU scored wityh the goalie pulled do to a delayed penalty on the Eagels. Freshman Wade Megan took a shot that Muse stoped but then hit in his rebound out of mid air.

In the third Boston College hit their stride as they madn it a 3-2 game. The first Eagels goal came on the power play (something they got a lot of but could not cash in) when Brian Gibbons broak in to the Terrierr zone and slid it past Millan. The second came one a Terrier power play. Gibbons one again lead the chage ass he took the puck all they way to the net, took a shot and let Cam Atkinson clean up the trash.

In the final minutes BC through all they had at BU and Millan stopped it all and gave the Terriers the win.

BU's next game is friday night at Providence. Game time 7:30
