BU West (the Colorado Avalanche) had four former Terriers in the lineup last night. Brandon Yip, Colby Cohen, Kevin Shattenkirk, and David Van Der Gulik all saw ice time as the Aves rolled over the Dallas Stars, 5-1. Yip picked up his third goal of the season and also got into a fight. Colby Cohen, playing in his first NHL game, picked up two minor penalties but he and Shatt where held off the score sheet. Vandy notched an assist on the first Colorado goal.
Another former Terrier, John McCarthy, fond the back of the net. McCarthey, playing for the San Jose Sharks, scored his second career NHL goal.
