Top 5 BU-Maine games of the last 20 years

In anticipation of game that might be on this list next year, I have ranked the top five best BU-Maine games of the last two decades.

#5 March 13th 2009
BU and Maine play down to the wire in the first game of the Hockey East playoffs. Colby Cohen's power play goal finally put the Terriers over the edge, as they come back and win 2-1. Maine would win the next night forcing a game three, which BU won 6-2, on the way to the Hockey East Tournament  Championship.



#4 November 15th 1991
Mike Prendergast scores a shorthanded goal with 21 second left in the third period, as BU drops Maine 5-4



#3 February 19th 1993
BU's Mike Prendergast scores on a two on one in overtime, handing the Black Bears their only loss of the season.


#2 April 1st 1995
BU wins its fourth National Championship, as they recored a 6-2 thumping of the Black Bears in Providence.


#1 March 10th 1991
The Terrier's Shawn McEachern beats Maine goalie Garth Snow to win the Hockey East Championship.



IN Other News
Sahir Gill was named Hockey East Rookie of the month. Gill has 3 goals and 5 assists so far this season and BU is off to their best start in 32 years.

Former Terrier Nick Bonino was called up from the AHL to the Anaheim Ducks.
