BU-USA U18 Preview

Tonight, BU will play their final exhibition game of the season as they host the USA U18 team.

The NTDP has played a slew of other college teams this year and they have certainly held their own. After falling 4-0 to Northern Michigan, the US beat Lake State 2-1 in overtime the next night. Last weekend, they tied Notre Dame 2-2. The Terriers faced the NTDP last year, winning 6-4.

The U18's have a few future Terriers on their roster. Clayton Keller leads the team with 13 points, 4 goals 9 assists. Kieffer Bellows is second on the team in points with 9, but leads USA in goals with 7. The third Terrier commit, defenseman Chad Krys has 5 assists on the year. BU also has a goalie commit in Jake Oettinger. In 7 games this year, Oettinger in 4-3-0 with a 2.72 save percentage and an .880 save percentage.

You will probably see Connor LaCouvee in net for the Terriers and Max Prawdzik see some action, too. Sean Maguire will likely start Saturday vs Wisconsin.

According to the Boston Hockey Blog Brandon Fortunato will be back this weekend. Nick Roberto will still be out due to a "coaches decision".

I will not be at the game tonight, as I have my own hockey commitment.
