Weekend Review, Terriers Split With Merrimack

There were a lot of positives and a lot of negatives to come out of the weekend split with Merrimack.

Positives
- Terriers get Nick Bonino, Grant Rollheiser and Alex Chiasson back from their respective injury's.
- The Terriers finally end their four game losing streak with an offensive explosion in Saturday' contest when BU scored a season high six goals to beat Merrimack 6-4.
- Bu also ended their even strength goal drought when the they scored four of them in the first period on Saturday.
- Grant Rollheiser plays in his first game of the season and made 25 saves.
- Sophomore Ross Gaudet and freshman Max Nicastro (photo) each recored their first collegiate goals
- Cory Trivino scored his first goal of the season in Fridays 6-3 loss.

Negatives
- Terriers Lose their fourth straight game on Friday the 13th to unranked Merrimack 6-3
- Bu could not score on two five on three opportunity's in the first and third periods of Friday's game
- According to Parker the Terriers "stopped competing" in the second period on Friday
- Merrimack scored five straight goals on the Terriers
- Millan was pulled from fridays game in place of Adam Kraus (photo). This was only the second time that Millan has ever been pulled from a game. The last was when he gave up three straight goals to Umass. The Terrier would come back and win that game 6-3.
- The Terrier took some very stupid penalty's in both games
- Bu had a 4-0 lead in Saturdays game and then let the Warriors come with in one shot of tieing the game.

Blog Changes
I just added five more college hockey websites to the side bar on the right. They include The Terrier Hockey Fan blog  and the Boston Hockey Blog. Which is a blog about Boston Bruins and the Terriers. Others are the Boston Globe and Boston Herald's college hockey section.
