Yesterday, Alex Chiasson (photo) was named the Hockey East rookie of the week. He scored the Terriers third goal in saturdays home ice clinching game and also had two assists in the Terriers 5-4 win over Northeastern. This is not the first time that Chiasson has won the award. HE got it in the first week of the season after he scored two goals in his first ever collegiate game. The Terriers would go on a lose that game 3-2.
In other news
BU now has their first member of the 2013 recruit class. Matt Grzecyk a defenseman from Belmont Hill, he has played in 31 game and has two goals and 18 assists.
Fridays quarterfinal game against Merrimack will be shown on NESN starting at 7:30
I will later this week be previewing the Hockey East tournament and it will also have my picks as well.
