Starting in Albany, RIT upended the university of New Hampshire 6-2. The RIT Tigers will advance to their first ever Frozen Four. The other team that will be moving on to Detroit, comes out of the west regional, will be Wisconsin. The Badgers downed St Cloud State 5-3 and will now take on the RIT Tigers in the Frozen Four less then two weeks from today.In the northeast regional, in Worcester, Boston College just got by Alaska 3-1. In the later game, Yale upset WCHA champion North Dakota 3-2. Today Yale and BC will face off for the right to go to Detroit.
In Fort Wayne, part of the Midwest regional, Miami skated past Alabama Huntsville 2-1. Later Michigan blasted Bemidji state 5-1. Miami and Michigan will tangle in a rematch of the CCHA semi finals, for a spot in the Frozen Four.
