Series preview: Merrimack @ BU, The start of something new

It was very clear that the race to get into the Hockey East playoffs was extremely tight, in fact the tightest it has ever bean. Before the final weekend of play, Parker said that he would not mined playing any team except Merrimack. This will be the fourth time that BU and Merrimack meet in the quarterfinals (1991,'95, '98). BU has leads the series 2-1 with the lose coming in 1998.

What's up withe Warriors
Lately MC has been one of the hotter teams in the league and also have one of the best freshman in the entire nation, Stephane Da Costa. On the 13th of February the Warriors won their first road game of the season, as the took down Vermont at Guterson Field house in Burlington Vermont. This is some thing that BU could not do is win a game in Vermont. MC also has deadly special teams. They are almost 30% on the power play and are over 80% on e the kill.
